About

Abstraction is the obscurity of thought. A stark difference from concrete, tangible ideas, its concept eludes many who have a fundamental misunderstanding of it, although they may slip into it often during dull moments. Abstraction, specifically in physical art forms, are thought as invalid by many, but these blogs will elaborate on the continuities of abstraction in physical art to lead to a better and more thorough understanding. In regards to literary art, abstraction is more often than not overlooked entirely, despite being an integral part of the genre. Abstraction in psychology is the basis for many psychological theories, so this blog will discuss applications of these theories in everyday life. The volume of abstract ideas in philosophy is overwhelming for many, and because this blog is based on philosophical thought, it will attempt to explain the history of different philosophical standpoints, but mainly focusing on abstraction; how it subscribes or lends itself to other philosophies, as well as how it differentiates from them. Perspective is key in this blog, through this blog I will learn and expand my knowledge, and expose others to different perspectives in the process. I hope you have a nice day, thank you very much for reading.
